Description Author

This package can get IP address location or country.

It can send HTTP requests to to IPGeoLocation API Web server to request location information about a given IP address, the list of would countries or information of a given country.

The responses can be cached in session variables to avoid the overhead of performing the same remote HTTP requests to the API Web server.

Free IP geolocation API Wrapper using the Maxmind Geolite 2 database set.

Can return country level data and specific latitude and longitude for any IPv4 or IPv6 IP number. The data set is kept current monthly.

Can return data for any supported country.

Supports session caching to keep the free service, free.
