On "Remaining Chrome Issues" / "2. Pasting background colors" - there's an easy way to overcome this annoying feature, instead of CTRL+V you have to do CTRL+SHIFT+V.

Tested on both Linux and Mac!

Great tip! But how did you discover about it? I never read about it anywhere. That is yet another secret feature that Chrome people develop but do not seem to advertise much.

It would be helpful if Chrome showed some information on a window the first time you paste the text regarding the Shift key to paste the background.

Other than that, it seems pasting the background color is intentional. I do not see much use in pasting the background colors for my own purposes and probably for the purposes of the majority of the users.

It would make much sense to make it only paste the background colors if the Shift key was being pressed, just for that minority that may needed it for some reason.
