1. Happy Birthday PHP Classes Site for 25 Years

The PHP Classes site completed 25 years this week on June 24. It is certainly a long life for a site.

Certainly, we will continue to work to improve the site every day as we have been doing for all this time.

The site was only made possible thanks to the contributions of thousands of PHP developers who shared great PHP components with all the other developers who used the components and reported bugs to fix and suggested new features.

2. The Last 7 Years

The last 7 years brought many new developments like the PHP elePHPant mascot plush toy that we licensed to produce and sell to many developers worldwide that wanted to have one.

Many thanks to our great leader Vincent Pointier who was very kind to license the PHP elePHPant design.

We also increased our team with a new internal team member. Her name is Glaucia Felisbino and she is our project manager. Almost every day I meet with her to sort the priorities of the tasks that are more important to improve the site benefits for all that use the site.

She is also the logistics manager. All of you received elePHPants from the PHP Classes site be aware that she is the person who packaged the elePHPants, as well as produced the documents to declare the sales of the elePHPants and ship them to your country.

We also would like to thank many companies and individuals that collaborated with our company to make all this happen, like for instance, Correios do Brasil which was able to have 100% of the elePHPants delivered to all that ordered the elePHPant.

3. Next Year Plans

We are working on finalizing many tasks before we can announce the new benefits of the site.

For now, I will not spoil the surprise. I will get back to you on this probably until October 2024. I will not promise specific dates because good work takes a long time. Our team is committed to doing the work to make it happen as soon as possible.
