5. Authors address spammed

Hello,
Recently I have realized that the authors of the packages uploaded to the PHP Classes site have been spammed by entities unrelated to the site.
The site was not hacked nor any private information was disclosed. It seems that somebody has crawled over the site pages and grabbed the authors e-mail addresses.
Since I should have figured that someday that could happen, I would like to apologise to you if you have been exposed to the spam.

4. New host for PHP Classes

Hello,
Finally the PHP Classes site was moved to a new host server. This time is a server that is part of a project yet to be publically revealed that meant to host Open Source projects like this.
The good part is that it is a Linux 2.4.x based server that is for now not so busy as the Solaris 2.8 virtual server where it used to be hosted. So the site should really fly now!

2. PHP broken functions and downloading class files without user login

As you may have noticed, I have just uploaded a class that provides replacements for functions that PHP developers have broken their original behaviour recently before PHP 4.1.0 . The functions already known to be broken are dirname and strtok.

Hello,
Several users have suggested the addition of discussion foruns for each class so users can ask questions and share related information.
However, Web based foruns is a resource that may take a lot of load to the site Web server. Despite there were offers to host foruns for each class hosted in the site, I think it is important that foruns appear in the same site where the classes are hosted.
