Manuel Lemos manuellemos.netThe title says it all. This book is a reference guide written by Rasmus Lerdorf, the original author of PHP. The book is made mostly by a complete list of functions of PHP. Each function is described at least by its name, argument list and short description of its purpose. Besides the PHP function reference, the book starts with a brief explanation on how to install as Apache module and start using the language to exercise its capabilities. Despite it is not for those who wish to improve their knowledge on PHP, this book may be very useful to have on the side of your keyboard for immediate consultation when you are coding, saving much time to those that just need to verify the usage of the language and its functions. The book dimensions are 7" x 4" 1/4 x 1/4" (17,5cm x 11cm x 0,7cm) which makes it easy to take away anywhere you where you would like to have it to learn or check something about PHP functions and its capabilities.
