I need class to store and retrieve data session with encryption and defined lifetime.

Optionally it should store the session in database and count the number of users with an open session.

This package can provide a session handler that can incorporate features of multiple session handlers that can be stacked like for instance encryption of data like you want.

It does not seem to provide database storage but I guess you can add an handler to the stack so it can store data in your database.
