+1 | When a business first signs up for our website, will they be able to search for their business via the API so they can link their business to the CFPB API, even if they don't have an offense yet? In other words, if the business does not have an actual offense that has been logged by a consumer or customer to the CFPB, are they already assigned and ID so that we can link up our clients when they sign up for our web site? |

Yes, that I got it, For fetching particular business complaints from CFPB.
But is there any API which can submit/post complaints to the CFPB website directly. Not going to the CFPB website and post complaints, but from our website and post complaints to the CFPB website.
And thank you for the reply.

It is not clear what you are asking. Do you want to call an API to check the status of a company in CFPB? Or do you want to find the URL of company listed in CFPB even if they do not have an offense yet?

Yes, I need an API, which can post query to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau(CFPB) from my website.
So business are automatically registered on "CFPB", and consumer can find that business for complaints and post their complaints in it.

It seems there is a public API on CPFB site to query consumer consumer complaints.
This seems to be useful for what you need.
In that case it would probably not be hard for somebody to build a class to query that API.
