I think this class can do exactly what you ask in terms of managing Asterisk configuration files.

There is another class for similar purposes but since it is older I am not sure if it is more up to date with the configuration of Asterisk.

    I wasn't sure which one to post, so I figured I would wait to see what anyone more familiar with asterisk decided on. The other class, floAPI, has a very strict educational use only license and can't be used for any commercial purpose, so it really is limited in usability.
