You can try this package that can merge multiple WAV audio files and comes with a working example.

If you want to also merge MP3 files, these can be concatenated to be merged.

If you want to merge either WAV and MP3 audio files, it is better that you some MP3 to WAV file converter first, so you can merge only WAV audio files.
