I need to create a script where teams play the same amount of games, but they play 2 games one week and then 1 game the next week. Throughout the season. There can be no duplicate matchups.
Please I have found all the round-robin scripts on Google, etc... Round Robin scripts wont work. A typical diamond may have the following matchups:
1-2
2-3
3-4
4-5
See that 2, 3, 4 play two games and 1 and 5 only one. Next week though 1 and 5 have to play 2 games and 2,3,4 play only one game. Please note this is not a complete example. The league I am apart of has anywhere from 28-40 teams any given year.
Any help is appreciated.
