hello everyone...
im newbie in PHP, n please i need your help

i have data from table,like that:

TGL || Tahun || semester || Keterangan

2010-1-1 2010 Genap LIbur tahun baru
2010-1-2 2010 Genap LIbur UAS
2010-1-3 2010 Genap LIbur UAS
2010-1-4 2010 Genap LIbur UAS
2010-1-15 2010 Genap LIbur UTS
2010-2-10 2010 Genap LIbur Semester genap
2010-2-11 2010 Genap LIbur Semester genap

i have select tahun & semester to show this data. and than iwant to show table like that:
TGL Libur || tahun-semester || keterangan

2010-1-1 2010-genap LIbur tahun baru
2010-1-2 till 2010-1-4 2010-genap LIbur UAS
2010-1-15 2010-Genap LIbur UTS
2010-2-10 till 2010-2-11 2010-genap LIbur Semester genap

how i can to solve this problem?
what function query or php should i use?
please help me. before n after i said thanks very much
