It is pretty annoying having that new messenger welcome message pop up on every page view, even after I close it. You need something in place to remember the closed state during the active session.

Hello Dave,

Yes, you are right. We have been looking into the Facebook messenger chat as alternative to provide support, but it does not seem to give us much control over how it can appear in the Web pages.

For now we have disabled it, so we can investigate further on how to make it work better.

Thanks for the feedback.

Sorry for the delay. Well for now we have recently enabled using Facebook messenger in shop pages. It seems that at least one person contacted us using the Facebook messenger chat to enquire about ordering elePHPants and it seems to have worked well.

Anyway, we also increased the delay to make the chat window appear so it does not annoy users. We made that delay be 10 seconds.

Can you please check here and let me know if this delay time is reasonable or should I adjust the delay to make it better?

Also can you tell me if you believe that if it would be useful to add to other types of pages to contact the site for live support?
