hi
it is a good idea to create this class for phonetic. it will definitely very use full for developers, i have download and run the example.php file but i have the following error message, Pl. resolve the bug.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '"', expecting ')' in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\phonetic\phonetic.class.php on line 33

go to lines 33 and 34 of the file
and replace "$" with '$'
this will fix the problem
