Hi!
I developed a couple of year and internal procedure to execute (via exec) a "long-server task" with php ... so I was curious about this approach and tried to test it. It looks good but could be really better to reserve a single sub-directory to do the work.

Further: using this via SSL create a small problem if the server is SSL-only :)
