Does PHP7 RC or release support Async? I was unable to find that in the changed feature. Seems interesting. Will there be an article demonstrating some specific use cases while using Async and Await (and how it reduces time or memory)?

No the article does not say that. That is more what we hope to have in the future.
PHP core developers have already made the keywords async and await reserved but it is not something that is already implemented.
