My websites are hosted by Lamphost.net and if and when they upgrade PHP I will have to follow. So far they are very slow in moving from 5.2.17-pl0-gentoo to anything newer. That is fine by me. To change all of my code will be a pain even though almost all mysql is done by a class. Still there would be a lot of testing to go through.

I have not followed the debate on this issue but it is hard for me to understand what will be gained by such a move.
