Think of redoing 10 years of code that works just fine. Think of hunting down every tiny query you ever wrote to fix something that's not broken. Think of explaining to your clients why this web hosting upgrade will make the spend a lot of money without ANY perceived improvement on their websites.
Code written the new way will work exactly as is has worked the old way - so there's no logical explanation for spending time and money upgrading.
