I'm a PHP-Ajax/Flash developer, in my personal experience Firefox is the best resource for developers (even if you don't get Firebug the ERROR CONSOLE is very helpful by self).
Even more, if you want explore code uploaded by Ajax the option VIEW SELECTED SOURCE is the best.
As developer my computer runs Chrome, Safari, Opera & IE but my personal choice is Firefox
