We are getting some new features - PHP MySQL Websocket Chat package blog

There are two new updates comming to this package and well later i will create a new project for webshops and support personal (but more about that later in a diffrent post). I am working on 2 releases for you as you read this the current version is 1.2 but im working hard on 1.3 and later 1.4.

What will be new in 1.3:

• License will be updated to 2018 copyright
• Javascript code will be updated to ES2015
• Readme.md will be updated with more usefull information
• jQuery dep will be removed
• JSDOC3 comments will be added (But in 1.4 we will have documentation)
• The client will try to reconnect if the server goes down

Features coming in version 1.4 (big):

• SSL will be supported !!!!!
• There will be a ... indicator if somebody is writing a message
• It will be more clean of who you wrote a private message to post sending the message
• I will add automated testing trough scrutinizer-ci
• I will add coding style checkout trough Style CI (Javascript standard)
• The javascript codebase will have more error checking and responses to errors
• Headless unit tests will be added
• PHP Documentation will be added
• Javascript documentation will be added
• Overall more error handling so you dont have to do it
